We began with volunteers and a blood bank. From donation camps across Srinagar grew a promise to build a hospital for everyone, and in 1989 its foundation stone was laid in Bemina. That promise still guides every patient we see.

01Volunteers of the Hussaini Blood Bank organised blood donation camps across Srinagar. The hospital grew out of this work, first as a unit of the blood bank.
02The foundation stone of Imam Hussain (A.S) Hospital was laid in Bemina by Dr. Farooq Abdullah, then Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir.
03On open fields in Bemina, volunteers and supporters came together to build the hospital that stands there today.
04Medical relief camps, fire and flood relief, ambulance service and support for orphans and families in need, reaching remote corners of the valley.
05A full hospital with emergency care, a 24/7 blood bank, dialysis, specialist departments, a Para Medical Training College, and charitable care for those in need.

The outpatient department is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. You can call ahead or send us a message to request an appointment.
Yes. Charitable care is at the heart of our mission. Individuals and families who cannot afford treatment can speak to our front desk or contact us, and we will guide you through the support available.
Yes. Our dialysis unit provides haemodialysis with a dedicated water treatment plant. Please call us to arrange sessions.
